Eduync Mobile Application

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of the Eduync mobile application by schools and school-authorized administrators, teachers, parents, students, drivers and staff.

Effective: 12 July 2026 Last updated: 12 July 2026
Important: Eduync does not provide public registration. A school creates and manages each account and gives the authorized user a username and password.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing or using the Eduync mobile application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and the Eduync Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or legal guardian permitting a minor to use a school-issued account, you acknowledge these Terms on the minor’s behalf to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree, do not use the app and contact the school that issued the account.

2. About the Eduync App

Eduync is a school-management application that may provide authorized users with access to school information and functions such as attendance, classes, timetables, examinations, grades, announcements, messages, notifications, fees or account information, and school transportation. Available features depend on the school’s subscription, configuration and the user’s assigned role.

Eduync provides the technology platform. The school controls its users, permissions and school records and is responsible for its educational and administrative decisions.

3. Authorized Users

The app is available only to users authorized by a participating school or educational institution. Authorized roles may include administrators, teachers, parents, students, drivers and staff.

Use of the app may be subject to additional policies, rules or agreements issued by the school. Where a school rule conflicts with these Terms, these Terms continue to govern use of the Eduync technology, while the school’s rules govern the school relationship to the extent permitted by law.

4. School-Issued Accounts

There is no public account registration. The school creates the account, assigns the role and permissions, and provides the username and password. The school may reset credentials or suspend, restrict or close the account.

Users must:

  • provide or use accurate information as required by the school;
  • keep usernames, passwords and session access confidential;
  • not allow another person to use their account;
  • sign out from shared or public devices;
  • notify the school promptly of suspected unauthorized access;
  • use only the role and permissions assigned to them.

Activity performed through an account may be treated as activity of the authorized account holder unless unauthorized access was reported promptly.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for using the app lawfully, carefully and only for legitimate school-related purposes. Users must review information displayed in the app and report suspected errors to the school.

Parents and students should not rely on the app as the only source of urgent safety or emergency communication. Drivers must not interact with the app in a manner that distracts them while driving.

6. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • access or attempt to access another person’s account or restricted data;
  • share credentials or bypass role-based permissions;
  • use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening or harmful activity;
  • interfere with the app, servers, networks, security controls or other users;
  • introduce malware, automated attacks, scraping tools or excessive requests;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the app’s source code except where law expressly permits;
  • misrepresent identity, role, attendance, location, transportation status or school records;
  • use information obtained through Eduync for unauthorized commercial, advertising or surveillance purposes;
  • use the app in a way that violates a school policy or the rights of another person.

7. School Responsibilities

The participating school is responsible for:

  • creating and managing user accounts and permissions;
  • providing usernames and passwords securely;
  • entering, approving and maintaining accurate school information;
  • deciding which users may view each type of information;
  • obtaining notices, permissions or parental consent required by applicable law;
  • managing staff, student and transportation procedures;
  • responding to user requests relating to school records;
  • promptly removing access when a user is no longer authorized.

Eduync is not responsible for a school’s educational decisions, employment decisions, disciplinary decisions, transportation decisions, fee decisions or the accuracy of information entered by the school or its authorized users.

8. Driver and Location Responsibilities

Driver accounts may use device location for school transportation tracking. A driver must grant location permission only on an authorized device and use tracking only during authorized school transportation activity.

Drivers must:

  • start and stop trips according to school procedures;
  • keep the authorized device reasonably charged and connected where possible;
  • not falsify, manipulate or intentionally obscure transportation location data;
  • not use or handle the phone while driving except as permitted safely and lawfully;
  • follow all traffic, safety and school transportation requirements.

Location accuracy and availability can be affected by the device, operating system, GPS signal, mobile network, battery settings, permission settings, tunnels, buildings, weather and other conditions. The map location is an operational aid and is not guaranteed to be exact or continuously available.

9. School Information and Records

School information shown in the app may include attendance, classes, timetables, examinations, grades, notices, transportation assignments and other records. Such information is supplied, selected or maintained by the school and may be changed by authorized school personnel.

Users should contact the school to question or correct a school record. Information in the app does not replace an official document issued by the school unless the school expressly states otherwise.

10. Notifications and Communications

Eduync may deliver push notifications and in-app notices on behalf of the school. Delivery may be delayed or fail because of internet availability, device settings, notification permissions, platform services or other technical conditions.

Users are responsible for keeping the app updated and checking the app or the school’s official communication channel for important information.

11. Availability and Maintenance

Eduync aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, upgrades, emergencies, cyber incidents, internet failures, hosting failures, device problems or third-party service interruptions.

Eduync may modify, maintain, limit or temporarily disable a function where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, performance or service improvement.

12. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on third-party services such as mobile operating systems, app stores, hosting, maps, push notifications, network providers and monitoring services. Their availability and operation are outside Eduync’s full control and may be governed by their own terms.

References or links to a third-party service do not imply that Eduync is responsible for that service’s content, security, accuracy or availability.

13. Intellectual Property

Eduync and its licensors own the app, software, design, branding, interfaces, documentation and related technology, excluding content or records owned by the school or other lawful owners.

Subject to these Terms, Eduync grants the authorized user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for the school-related purpose for which the account was issued. No other rights are granted.

14. Privacy

Use of personal information through the app is described in the Eduync Privacy Policy. By using the app, users acknowledge that information will be processed as necessary to provide the authorized school service.

15. Suspension and Termination

A school may restrict or terminate an account at any time according to its policies. Eduync may suspend or limit access where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate suspected misuse, address non-payment by a school, comply with law, or enforce an applicable agreement.

On termination, the user must stop using the account. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions—remain effective.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Eduync does not promise that all information will be complete, current or error-free, particularly where the information is supplied or managed by a school or another user.

Eduync is a technology service and does not replace the professional judgment, supervision, safeguarding duties or legal responsibilities of a school, teacher, parent, driver or other responsible person.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eduync will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, opportunity or reputation; or losses caused by school-entered information, unauthorized credential use, internet or device failure, inaccurate location, third-party interruption, or user failure to follow school procedures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any additional liability arrangement agreed directly between Eduync and a participating school is governed by the applicable school service agreement.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, an organization using Eduync agrees to be responsible for claims, losses or costs arising from its unlawful use of the service, its school records, its account administration, or its failure to obtain required authorization or consent. This section does not impose an indemnity on an individual consumer where prohibited by law.

19. Changes to the App or Terms

Eduync may update the app and these Terms to reflect new functionality, security improvements, legal requirements or service changes. The current version will display an updated date. Where required, material changes will be communicated through the app, the school or another appropriate channel.

Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Where consent is legally required, it will be requested separately.

20. Governing Terms

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Eduync service provider and the participating school agreement, without limiting mandatory rights that apply to users under local law.

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

21. Contact Us

For account access, school information or permission questions, contact the school that issued the account.
